Recipe Details

YIELD: 4 servings

Sam’s Sangria
2 bottles of red wine [preferably malbec or rioja]
1 Cup of Cointreau
1 Cup of Spiced Rum
4 Cinnamon sticks
1 fresh squeezed grapefruit
1 fresh squeezed lemon
1 sliced plum


Pour all wet ingredients into a pitcher. Add cinnamon sticks and stir. Add squeezed juice from 1 whole grapefruit and 1 whole lemon. Throw in sliced/diced plums to soak flavor. Stir and let sit for at least 4 hours before serving.
*When serving, only fill sangria halfway into glass. Top the rest with soda water & stir [I like grapefruit Le Croix].
