1 box (15.25 oz) devil’s food cake mix with pudding
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 container white ready-to-spread frosting
Orange sanding sugar
1 tube black decorating gel
BOOZY BASKETBALL CUPCAKES
- Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Generously spray 24 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil, liqueur, eggs and vanilla with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling about two-thirds full.
- Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Spread frosting on cupcakes; dip tops into sanding sugar to heavily coat and cover frosting. Use black gel to draw basketball shapes on top of sugar. Transport in a SNAPWARE® SNAP ’N STACK® COOKIE & CUPCAKE CARRIER.
