3 Easy Make-Ahead Sauces to Savor the Flavor

3 Easy Make-Ahead Sauces to Savor the Flavor

Highlights
    • FREEZE FOR FUTURE USE. Pour individual sauces into freezer-safe containers, such as the PYREX® STORAGE PLUS® 14-PC SET WITH W/MULTICOLORED LIDS. To thaw, place sauces in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before you plan to use them. Then pour the contents into a Revere® saucepan and warm over low heat on the stove.
    • SINGLE-SERVE SAUCES. Freeze these sauces in individual servings by pouring them into ice cube trays. Simply freeze, release the ice cubes, then store in a freezer-safe container. Take out as many cubes as you need for each serving, returning the rest to the freezer for another meal.
    • HOLD THE CREAM. If you’re planning to freeze mushroom sauce, omit the cream. Then add it when reheating the sauce just before serving.

March is National Sauce Month, so don’t hold back. Time to take your meals to the next level and celebrate with three easy make-ahead sauces that can turn a boring meal into something extraordinary!
