6 oz uncooked whole wheat angel hair (capellini) pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green pepper and onion, undrained
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (1 oz)
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, if desired
BAKED PASTA WITH SRIRACHA MEAT SAUCE
- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray CORNINGWARE® FRENCH WHITE™ 2.5 QT. ROUND CASSEROLE WITH GLASS LID with cooking spray. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
- Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, Sriracha sauce, Italian seasoning, salt and garlic powder. Add cooked pasta to skillet; toss. Spoon mixture into casserole; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover; bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley and shredded Parmesan before serving.
