1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup shredded chipotle cheddar cheese
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions

- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in egg, buttermilk and oil just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in the cheese, onions and bacon.
