5 cups French bread cubes (1/2 inch)
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1-1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
BERRY FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE
- This is the perfect make-ahead breakfast for relaxing summer mornings. Wake up, remove from the refrigerator and bake. Enjoy the burst of fresh summer blueberries and raspberries.
- Place half of the bread in a greased PYREX® EASY GRAB™ 3-QT OBLONG BAKING DISH. Top with cream cheese and berries. Sprinkle with remaining bread cubes.
- In a PYREX® 1.5-QT MIXING BOWL, whisk eggs and cinnamon until lightly beaten. Stir in milk and syrup; mix well. Pour over bread mixture. Gently press bread into egg mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Completely preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover carefully; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
