6 cups plain popped popcorn
1-1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts (any variety)
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups prepared cheese popcorn
Caramel, Peanut and Cheese Popcorn
Heat oven to 200°F. Line PYREX 3-QUART RECTANGULAR BAKING DISH with foil. Mix plain popcorn and peanuts in dish.
In PYREX 2 CUP MEASURING CUP, mix brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until boiling. Carefully stir in baking soda until foamy (mixture will bubble up). Stir in vanilla. Immediately pour sugar mixture over popcorn and peanuts; mix until evenly coated.
Bake uncovered 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
In a very large bowl, toss popcorn mixture with cheese popcorn. Store in PYREX 7 CUP STORAGE DISH.
