1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 container ready-to-spread chocolate frosting
1 tube white decorating icing with plain tip
FULL-COURT CHOCOLATE PB & OAT BARS
- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray PYREX® EASY GRAB™ 3 QUART OBLONG BAKING DISH with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, mix sugars, butter and peanut butter until blended. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, salt, vanilla and egg. Spread in baking dish.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in dish on cooling rack, about 2 hours.
- Spread with chocolate frosting. With white icing, pipe lines on each bar to look like a basketball court. Cut bars into rectangles (6 rows by 2 rows).
