12 slices multigrain bread, toasted
2/3 cup guacamole
1 lb bacon, crisply cooked, coarsely chopped
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
8 medium green onions, sliced (1/2 cup)
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
BACON-GUACAMOLE GRILLED CHEESE BAKE
- Heat oven to 300°F. Spray PYREX® 3-QT OBLONG BAKING DISH cooking spray.
- Arrange 6 of the toasted bread slices in baking dish. Spoon guacamole over toast. Layer with bacon, cheese and onions. In medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, mustard and pepper sauce with fork or whisk; pour evenly over bread. Cut remaining 6 bread slices diagonally in half; arrange on mixture in baking dish.
- Bake uncovered 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until center is set. (If top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.) Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
